Hi all.

We need someone to help us with the following:

  • Update domain renewal periods from 1 year to 2 years for specific clients only
  • Send only an invoice for domain renewal and none of the domain renewal reminders for specific clients only

Is anyone able to assist?

Ben

it sounds as though you just need a SQL query to do that - how many clients/domains will need to be updated ?

disabling domain renewal reminders for specific clients should be possible with an EmailPreSend hook, but i'm pretty sure the ICANN rule is still in place where registrars need to send at least one renewal reminder per domain - now if your registrar is still doing that, then I don't see an issue; if the registrar isn't sending reminders, and you're just sending reminders via WHMCS, then there might be an issue (not a technical one).

ICANN policy requires registrars to send you two renewal reminders approximately one month and one week before expiration of a domain name.
