Update NS ip

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My DNS changed ip's, but even after 48h i still see the old ip's in the system,
e.g. when a user creates a new account with an domain he will get an email with the name servers and the old ip's.
Is there a way to update the ip's?

Also the system checks if an domain uses an HTTPS cert. It looks like ones checked it doesnt check again (this is in clientarea.php?action=services)

Thanks for the help.

For a specific cpanel\website, you have to login to cpanel account and serach DNZ zone editor>Manage and see there what A record do you have and IP

For all accounts, go to WHM, search Edit DNS Zone>select your main domain> edit and look for Record Type NS and where it point for.

Double chech if you change NS on your domain registrar.

For messages that WHMCS send to customer, you have a emails templates

This can be fixed in the WHMCS admin.

Head to Setup-> Products/Services-> Servers and edit the server related to the outdated nameserver IPs.

Between Hostname and Server Credentials fields are the fields for nameservers and their respective IPs. You can modify them accordingly.

These fields are where the nameserver IP values in your product emails are generated from.
