using paypal like credit cards? (billing agreement)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

How can I use paypal like Spotify does?

Right now I have subscriptions, but these are limited to be edited.

Just like a credit card I can charge in advance to avoid any service interruptions, is this also possible with a Paypal user?

Hello @vinc1402

Thanks for your question, internally, we have been looking to implement PayPal Billing agreements, however in Q1 of 2020 PayPal are launching a new product that will supersede the currently available billing agreements product based on the recommendation from PayPal our intention is to integrate with this new PayPal product once its available, whilst I presently do not have a precise ETA on this we currently have indications from PayPal it will be released in Q1 2020 with WHMCS integrating shortly there after.

Beware about this: PayPal has always been very slow in implementing new agreements and tools in different countries, so it may happen that in Q1 ofv2020  the users of few countries will have access to this "new product", while in many other countries will be necessary to wait YEARS before getting it (i.e., in many European countries PayPal Pro is not yet available...)
