Add a domain to Client Profile -> Domains tab.

I have an account within our WHMCS. It has hosting in 'Producs/Services".

I own a domain in our account at OpenSRS.

The domain was purchased through WHMCS when we ordered the hosting.

How can I add the domain to the domain tab w/o any money changing hands?

Thanks Chris,

The manual addition appears to have worked.

We are using OpenSRS which is installed as an addon mod w/i WHMCS. As such, we have and API Key and username entered in the module config. In the domain page in the Domain Tab of the Client Profile page, there are Username and Password boxes for teh registrar. I am assuming those can remain blank?

P.S. My original post should have read: The domain was purchased separately from the hosting, not included with this client profile, so we WERE looking the manual method off adding it to THIS client profile.

I followed the steps as best I could as outlined in the documentation. The domain was was added, but it appears to have been added as a new pending order, that is due about a year from now. Is that normal?

There are about 300 Clients on this server, all of them have domains that we will need to add to the 'Domains' tab of their summary. does this mean we will see 300 pending orders for the next year?

I think you may have missed out the last step (8) from Chris' link..

8. Set the Order Status dropdown to Active and then click the submit button to add the order to WHMCS.

not if you remember to do step 8. 🙂

for the above domain, just accept the order - then you're good to start entering the rest of the domains.
