Is it possible to have the client upload file(s) during checkout?

Recommended Posts

I use WHMCS to bill my web design clients..  I was wondering (and sorry if this has already been covered in another thread) if there was a way to set it up to where the customer can upload his/her logo and graphics they wish to use in the design of their site during checkout..  I tried to do it in "custom fields" but there is no option for a file upload, only text box/area, link URL, etc..

I have seen threads where people were saying it's not possible, but that's all I could find (the threads were from a couple years ago)

Thanks,

Jessie A.

Hi @Jessie Abernathy,

Whilst there is not currently an upload option on the order form, we are tracking this suggestion here: https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/custom-field-with-upload-file - please add your vote and comments. With just 24 votes over 5 years, this isn't our most in demand feature at present.

In the meantime, the way we handle this is to add instructions to the product welcome email with a link for customers to submit a support ticket. That way they can attach their logo to the ticket, plus you get an extra notification.
