Question about Weebly MarketConnect

My customers are unable to publish their Weebly sites because WHMCS is not creating a FTP user and password. Technically that section is empty after someone buys that single service. My question is, do a customer need a hosting service before buying Weebly to be able to publish?

Hi @ocastaned,

If a client purchased hosting + weebly, or adds weelby to an existing hosting account, WHMCS will create the FTP account and set these as the publishing details within Weebly.

If a client purchases the Weebly service from you on a standalone basis (to use with external hosting with another company) or purchases hosting with your afterwards, you'll need to create the FTP account manually.

Then enter the details into the WHMCS admin Products/Services tab

Click Save Changes

Then use the Module Command button to update the publishing details at Weebly.
