Automatic 7.5.1 to 7.5.2 patch update FAILED despite allow_url_fopen enabled

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Time for me to go to the bottom with this issue. Automatic update has never worked on this server. I' always getting the following error:

Unable to Perform Automatic Updates

All update requirements are met. Despite that, the following yellow error appears in WHMCS status check zone:

Automatic Update Requirements
Automatic Updates require the allow_url_fopen setting to be enabled in your PHP configuration.

The thing is that allow_url_fopen is enabled for all domains.

Any idea? Thank in advance.

Utilities > System > PHP Info. Look for allow_url_fopen and post a screenshot of it of let us know if local/master values are both set to On.

Maybe it's turned off even if you enabled it because you forgot to restart Apache or master value is set to Off.

Check the screenshot of it. Will check the local/master values.
