Take for example the last update (7.5), some changelog itens:

"MODULE-6722 - Disable 3 year SSL certificate terms in complicance with CA/Browser community Ballot 193"

ok, this one just by reading it, i can understand what changed, but what about this one below:

"MODULE-6678 - Correct manual configuration of wildcard SSL"

ok... but what changed? what was wrong before? There is a "MODULE-6678" but where i can see it in details?

Since there is no response, i must assume that we are on our own?

So what's the point of showing us the identificator number? Only the user who reported and got answered that the problem would be resolved in the X number will know about what got changed.

Everyone else will have to wait for the customer to complain that something is different compared to the instructions we gave them because the system works differently between updates and we can not guess what has changed.

Hi @AndreAce1,

Case MODULE-6678 affected the manual configuration of Wildcard SSL in the administration area sold through MarketConnect. It would cause the configuration to get stuck at the 'select approver email' stage.

Applying the 7.5.0 update will ensure you do not encounter this issue.

I hope that helps!

John, I think his point was more generally about the limited details within the changelog (which can often be cryptic!) rather than that one specific issue... now granted you can't do into chapter and verse about every change in the log, but they can certainly be made more descriptive and understandable.
