vivyrelaxe
From approx. Christmas, I try to add manual payment from a customer but the system never complete it as you can see in this video (attached) or here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1z0KV3Vs0KqqgkEjJEtXqo6AAnk6C-HId/view?usp=sharing What can I do to resolve it? I use Chrome and I don't have this problem before. Thank you whmcs-bug.mp4
WHMCS ChrisD
Hey @vivyrelaxe Thanks for your post, could you try opening your Chrome Developer Console and check for any errors in there? I'd also recommend enabling errors under Setup > General Settings > Other > Display Errors & Log errors, the try applying Lastly, does this occur if you choose another gateway? vivyrelaxe
can you tell me how to access Chrome Developer Console, please? I've never done that before. I will try with an other browser. I've activate log errors report. I will tell you for the next payment to be added. For this time I've used an other way to add payment, I've created a credit for the amount received and I've applied to the invoice. If you can tell me how to access Chrome Developer Console, I will be ready for the next time. Thank you. Please don't close this message until my next try. Thank you. WHMCS ChrisD
To open the dedicated Console panel, either: Press Ctrl + Shift + J (Windows / Linux) or Cmd + Opt + J (Mac). If DevTools is already open, press the Console button.

sentq
Hi Sylvie, you need to open the Developer Console (as described by @WHMCS ChrisD) then try to add manual payment as you did before, if the issue still exists it should record error message in the Console (in red or yellow), we need to see this error message to tell you exactly what/where the issue came from. twhiting9275
What that's saying essentially is that you've got a problem with how the scripts themselves are loaded Now, have you customized WHMCS at all? I'm assuming that you're working on a custom gateway, right? Or is this a gateway released by WHMCS? Typically when this happens, this can be caused by one of two things #1: You've got a custom version of jquery involved. This is an ugly thing. Unfortunately, you need to stick to the outdated version WHMCS provides #2: You've got a load error, in that your script isn't loading the required libraries in the order that they're needed. I'd lay odds that this is the problem here. Take a look at the script source (view page source), does this load jquery anywhere, and if so, before, or after the javascript stuff?
vivyrelaxe
Thank you for your answer. I only use the files from WHMCS and no customization on my side for no one of my tools because I know customization is a nightmare with each update. So I only use what is available from the company without any modification. I've never done anything about jquery or libraries. I've asked for support in the past and they never found any problem so now I feel I'm let alone with my problem and it affect my business very much. Please find enclosed a .txt file of the source of one invoice in WHMCS. I hope it can help to see what you want to see... billing.txt

What I mentioned could be a malware software downloaded to your PC/Browser with/out you even noticing about it, it's common and probably it does affect your own PC not your website, if it does affect your website then it's more than just malware. anyway try from different Browser first, if the problem still exist, try from different PC (don't forget to check the browser Concole too).
