Issues with InternetSecure

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I had a similarish issue with the 7.1 upgrade on my dev site but in admin.

I have used the automatic updater for all versions since v7, I had also uploaded the v7.1 beta.

I'm running php v7.

Not sure where in the process this might have occurred but one of the files /modules/gateways/internetsecure.php was encoded by the ionCube Encoder for PHP 5.3 and cannot run under PHP 7.0

which causes the requested page to return just a white screen.

I downloaded the v7.1 release manually and checked that file is now not included so removed it and now the admin payment gateway pages now works.

Regards

Keith

that's a different issue altogether, actually, and should theoretically only affect the gateway pages on admin.

Staff should really fix these files like this, rather than releasing new releases without updating anything causing systems to simply not work.

Even replacing it with a blank file would be better than 'hey, we're just not going to fix it'.

Hello RMPnet,

Thanks for your post. In Version 7, we deprecated the InternetSecure Payment Processor as it was discontinued by the provider, this does mean it did not receive upgrades for PHP 7.0 and would only run on PHP 5.6 I've included a copy of the extract from the Release Notes below:

Deprecation of InternetSecure Payment Processor - The InternetSecure payment processor service is being discontinued on August 31, 2016. As a result, we will no longer shipping the InternetSecure module. For existing installations, the module will not be removed, however users are recommended to find an alternative payment processor before that time. For a full list of payment gateway options, navigate to Setup > Payment Gateways within your WHMCS installation.

I have also passed the feedback from this thread on as well
