ScrltOTara
I just turned on email verification - wasn't using it before. Is there a way to send the "please verify your email address" to ALL clients or do I have to do it one by one?
brian!
you should be able to use either of the two built-in options - Mass Mail or Email Marketer. With Mass Mail, you can send all/some clients a custom message immediately (sending x messages every y seconds - depending on what your server will allow). the Email Marketer can send a specific email template, e.g Email Verification, to the clients that meet the conditions you specify and will run via the next cron job.
ScrltOTara
Unfortunately, the verification link doesn't show up when I try it that way.
brian!
I forgot about the link and you're absolutely right - I just checked. you could still use one of the above options to send them a general email about you enabling the feature - remember that email verification doesn't prevent the client from doing anything in the client area, they'll just see the unverified user banner... and if they want to get rid of that, they can press the send verification email button. besides even if you could send the link en mass, it's only valid for 24 hours, so they'd be no guarantee that a client will click it within that time. for various reasons, we never bothered to enable the feature.
WHMCS ChrisD
Hello ScrltOTara, At this stage there isn't a way to include the verification link in the Mass Mailer I would recommend adding a Feature Request for the team to consider in a future release.
