What is LinkBack?

 

How would it benefit me over having a non branded?

 

How is a branded site branded? Can I still customize my forms and pages with my logos if I choose branded?

that's basically all the branding is - a "Powered by WHMCompleteSolution" text link on each page.

Just a correction to Brian's otherwise great post

This is not for 'each page', but for each publicly viewable page.

In other words, can't remove the linkback from admin pages, or admin login page , that's not covered there.

The main benefit to removing the branding is the removal of the "Powered by WHMCS" link on all front-end pages of WHMCS.

 

This is actually very good for security, for example in times there is a working exploit hackers tend to search for WHMCS based websites by searching for the above link/reference. If you have branding removed it'll help "hide" your website a bit better (although it's possible to use other methods of finding a WHMCS site such as looking for certain filenames).

 

I feel it's worth the extra cost in order to look more professional to your existing and new clients.
