WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 2, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 2, 2016 Hi, To add line breaks in Markdown syntax, end the line with two blank spaces: https://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/syntax#p
tomb
I am highly interested in this too. Adding to two blank spaces doesn't work. line breaks are removed by WHMCS. Is this a bug?
plusplushosting
Can anyone confirm if is a bug or not, and if not provide more details about how to correct this? I see many posts about this without any fix/workaround about it. Thanx in advance!
tomb
Thank you for getting back on this. I have talked to the Support. Unfortunately there is not workaround or solution, yet. This is a huge step backwards. Markdown doesn't obey single line breaks, two returns will be interpreted as a new paragraph I won't believe that people don't format their support tickets. Especially on long step by step instruction Clients keep complaining about my support ticket replies. Anyone else?
Kian
Markdown is pure evil and I have always hated it. It's not a WYSIWYG editor but more a WYSIATMAWYGIC (what you see is a total mess and what you get is chaos). For sure* you can fix this issue using a Smarty modifier with a boring regex. * Edit: maybe Edited September 9, 2016 by Kian
tomb
Can't agree more. Looking for a good workaround, too.

tomb
Unfortunately there's still no solution for that.
