Question about Paypal Pro gateway

Right now I am using Authorize.net with CIM to save credit card data and it is costing a fortune for the small amount of clients I have. It's to the point I can't keep paying for that. I was looking into paypal Pro plugin which is much cheaper. Will this payment module allow the client to store their credit card for future payments?

you might want to take a look at the 3rd-party 'PayPal On-Demand Billing Agreement' module...

with their module, you should be able to use any PayPal account to receive payments, and not necessarily one that requires a monthly fee... so you only pay Paypal, when someone pays you.

Hi,

PayPal Pro is a fully fledged Merchant type payment gateway, so card details would be stored encrypted in your MySQL database. As a result there are other considerations involved, like the time and effort in having your server and business operations PCI certified.

Using Third-Party or Tokanisation type gateways will reduce your liability: http://docs.whmcs.com/Payment_Gateways#Supported_Gateway_Modules
