I am testing payment gateways on my v6 install, so I am logge din as client, choose to pay invoice, but there is no "make payment" button showing up. I have the dropdown list of payment methods, but there is no way to proceed to make the actual payment. What is wrong ?

it will likely depend on the gateways you're trying... e.g if it's MailIn or Bank Transfer, as they're offline gateways, they just alter the text top right with payment method details... but if you are using Paypal, you should see a Paypal button on the invoice.

it's the dropdown that triggers what happens when a gateway is selected from the list - i'm assuming the dropdown is working ?

when you select Paypal, you should see something similar to...

are you using the Six template with no modifications, or is this a custom template ?

if you add Bank Transfer or Mailin (and add some dummy text to each), is the dropdown triggering any change of output based on the choice ??

if only WHMCS still had a public online demo where you could test this...

ok found the cause. I was trying to do my testing by marking existing invoice as unpaid, which doesn't allow to then pay it again, which seems odd, being as the reason you would do this is because it is unpaid and want it to be paid.

rule 1 - never let logic slip into how you think WHMCS will work. :)
