AffordableDomainsCanada
So after looking more into this, I am guessing here.. I think either the firewall or the server is blocking the main server ip or the dedicated ip attached to the cpanel account.. I have allowed the ip address's in the CSF and restarted lfd and csf, but still they are being blocked..

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted July 12, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted July 12, 2016 Hi, For the future reference of anyone who comes across this thread, here is the relevant documentation link: http://docs.whmcs.com/Email_Piping#Local_Delivery_Failed_Error_Message
BigFoot
Following up to this. Our piping was working great until the recent upgrade to php 5.6 to support our upgrade to ver 7 of WHMCS We were getting a bounced email with the 'Local Delivery Failed Error Message' We changed the file permissions of pipe.php to 755 and now the email seems to go through and a ticket is initiated. However we now receive another bounceback email with the following error (see below). Do you know what this means and how to correct it? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: pipe to |/home/sdh37hy/public_html/secure/crons/pipe.php generated by support@cytroid.com The following text was generated during the delivery attempt: ------ pipe to |/home/sdh37hy/public_html/secure/crons/pipe.php generated by support@cytroid.com ------ PHP Warning: PHP Startup: memcache: Unable to initialize module Module compiled with module API=20100525 PHP compiled with module API=20131226 These options need to match in Unknown on line 0 PHP Warning: Module 'imagick' already loaded in Unknown on line 0 PHP Warning: Module 'magickwand' already loaded in Unknown on line 0 PHP Warning: PHP Startup: memcache: Unable to initialize module Module compiled with module API=20100525 PHP compiled with module API=20131226 These options need to match in Unknown on line 0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HOWEVER we do receive the auto-notification back also that a ticket was created (and the ticket is indeed received) but we also receive this werid bounceback error above. Hoping someone can point us in the right direction, thanks! Jeff Edited October 20, 2016 by BigFoot
WHMCS ChrisD
Hello BigFoot, It sounds like your PHP configuration details are causing an error, would you mind opening a ticket so we can check into this a bit further?
BigFoot
Hi Chris, Thank you. I did open a ticket and this was the response I got from WHMCS staff. Can you help any further, it's still producing a bounceback email: -----Original Message----- From: Mail Delivery System [mailto:Mailer-Daemon@host.excy.com] Sent: Sunday, October 23, 2016 5:27 PM To: jeffrey@comcast.net Subject: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 24, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 24, 2016 Hi, These are PHP warnings and not errors, so you can suppress them. When the email piping occurs without an error then no bounce-back message would occur and the email will be imported into the ticket system. To do this you will need to adjust the PHP configuration used by the email piping (the appropriate php.ini file to edit depends upon your5 particular server configuration) and ensure that display_errors is set to Off and error_reporting is set to E_ERROR.
