Drop down menu stuck open

Hi all, new here & very new to WHMCS. In my client area & on cart.php the drop down menu labelled "Choose another category is stuck in the open position as shown in the screenshot attached.

 

Can someone please tell me how I can fix this?

I have tried using a few different themes & it makes no difference

as this is a new installation, i'd suggest uploading WHMCS again - perhaps one of the .js files is missing or corrupt.

 

you could try just uploading the 'assets' and 'templates' folders first to see if that fixes it; if not, try a complete re-upload.

Thanks. Discovered in the end that it only effects the modern order form layout. Tried to post here but it would not let me edit or reply to my original post.

May want to make sure you have the latest files uploaded including the orderform as I just tested and it does not do that for me using the Six theme and the Modern orderform. Or have you customized your theme?

I have seen this issue before, as others mentioned it's generally caused by 2 things:

 

1. One or more of your files are not up to date, for example whmcs.js is a big culprit for this type of issue

2. It's a conflict between your theme and WHMCS but as you're using stock WHMCS this shouldn't apply in your case.

Thanks for the replies It was a fresh install, though I am using a modified theme, which could be the culprit

 

I just changed whmcs.js after reading this & that fixed it
