Looking for a few users to test a new add-on that adds email integration with either sendgrid, or mailgun.

 

Every email template can be configured separately to send either internal (using SMTP settings) or to sendgrid or mailgun (via HTTPS post to their API, bypassing SMTP altogether). This only requires 1 line of code added the the file "class.phpmailer.php", in the PHPMailer folder.

 

Webhooks can be configured to give you instant feedback of delivery, dropped, bounced, opened, clicked.

 

Inbound parsing also available to interface directly into the WHMCS ticket system... No more pipe/pop cron jobs. Tickets update instantly via HTTPS post from sendgrid/mailgun into your WHMCS system.

Your email will be processed by mailgun, a ticket opened instantly in WHMCS and a response email sent back.

(Note : Test tickets are deleted every 24 hours).

About "Automatically falls back to local internal email settings," how does it work ?

 

It would be great this (add in the new releases)

 

1. for this image , a new tab in the customer with only theirs record

2. an open source version to buy so we can custom to our needs.
