ptoone
All of a sudden I am getting SMTP errors. It doesn't matter what smtp server I use. I have also tested them with other scripts on same server. Just whmcs gives an error: CLIENT -> SERVER: STARTTLS SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. CLIENT -> SERVER: QUIT SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. Email Sending Failed - SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. An Error Occurred SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 1, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 1, 2016 Hi, This is caused by a SSL certificate failure connecting to your mail server: https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting#php-56-certificate-verification-failure The long-term solution would be to address the certificate issue with your mail server.
