techplus
hello, I am using 3 currencies on my website USD, GBP and PKR. I have already set "Convert To For Processing" to none. For testing purpose, i have placed an order with PKR currency of 1500 PKR. On invoice page. There're two options Create Automated Recurring Subscription & Make One Off Payment. When i checkout through Create Automated Recurring Subscription option, the price show in 2checkout.com is Current Total (PKR): ₨. 167008.07 (Totally Wrong) When i checkout through Make One Off Payment, the price shows Rs. 1500. Its absolutely right. WHMCS is doing something wrong when trying to do checkout. I have tried to place another order with GBP of price 10.50. When i checkout through Create Automated Recurring Subscription option, the price show in 2checkout.com is £7.88 (Totally Wrong) When i checkout through Make One Off Payment, the price shows £10.50. Its absolutely right. Something wrong with WHMCS. I have placed another order for USD my default currently, And its working fine on both modes. Problem is there with other currencies. Please help me to resolve it as its very critical. Regards, Ahmad
zomex
Hello Ahmad, For a issue of this scale I think it'll be hard to trouble shoot without seeing it live and testing. I'd recommend creating a ticket with WHMCS support if you haven't already.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 22, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 22, 2016 Hi, The issue here is the way that 2Checkout handles currency conversion. WHMCS passes the invoice value and the currency to 2Checkout but they will detect your local currency based upon IP address and automatically convert the price into that amount in your local currency. Unfortunately (as far as I'm aware) they isn't an option to stop this behaviour on 2Checkout's payment page. The best workaround I have found is to set the Setup > Payments > Payment Gateways > Convert to For Processing setting within WHMCS to match the currency in which your 2Checkout account is held - in your case USD.
