brian!
After upgrading to 6.2 The general settings page no longer renders properly. Any suggestions? a couple of things to quickly check... 1. are you using an admin template that is no longer supported in v6 - e.g "Original" ? http://docs.whmcs.com/Version_6.0_Release_Notes#Admin_Area_Templates 2. if not, emtpy the template cache and see if that fixes the issue. upload the upgrade again - it might be caused by a missing or corrupt upload the first time.

SealIsland
Sorry about the gap, I reverted to the old version to cure the problem, but it has come back with the new upgrade. When I enable the error log using the config.php enty I now get Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /home/sealisl2/public_html/clients/vendor/phpmailer/phpmailer/class.phpmailer.php on line 1159 I tried changing the template then upgrading again, and I tried removing the reseller modes files I could find, but problem persists.
brian!
it might be worth opening a ticket with support, as they'd be able to take a closer look at your setup.
Administrators WHMCS John Posted February 11, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 11, 2016 Hi, This file is not encoded, so looking around the line from the error message: Please make sure that the idn_to_ascii and mb_convert_encoding PHP functions are compiled. Also check the tblconfiguration.Charset and tblconfiguration.Email fields contain valid values. The default are utf-8 and noreply@mycompany.com respectively.
