[unconfirmed] 6.1.1 reporting wrong version

I updated two separate systems from 6.1.0 to 6.1.1 using the patch set.

 

In both cases the System Information correctly displays the updated version:

 

System Information

Registered To: ABC.

License Type: Owned License No Branding

Expires: Never

Version: 6.1.1

 

However, the pop-up that you see after you login says this:

 

Beta version: Up-to-date!

You are running the latest available version of the Beta.

(big font) 6.1.0

You are currently running v6.1.1

 

Neither system has ever had the beta version installed. The 6.1.0 version number is also wrong.

Same for me, but clear your templates_c folder and clear browser cache, it should be gone then that message.

I download the full version and upload this file init.php it show v6.1.1 now

The popup details are loaded by a dynamic call to some code in our CDN. It was updated a little while after the release was made public. If you are still having this issue with the popup right now, please open a support ticket so we can investigate this further.

 

I would also note that the Health and Updates page used the results of the last remote license check, so it may not show an update right away. We moved the remote license check to a button you can trigger when needed in the License Information page.
