Whmcs 6.0.2 -> 6.1

Hello,

In the release notes it says:

http://docs.whmcs.com/Version_6.1.0_RC_1_Release_Notes

View Standard Upgrade Steps

As this is a minor version increment there is no incremental being provided. The upgrade process however remains the same once the full version files have been uploaded.

Have a great day,

Nate C

Hmm.. Then why does WHMCS show an upgrade available if its RC?

it's not a release candidate - it's now general availability... in other words, a full release - Nate was merely posting a link to the RC page about upgrade procedure..

if it helps, here's the same page for the full v6.1 release - http://docs.whmcs.com/Version_6.1_Release_Notes

I can see 6.1 has now been officially released, it seems like there's no incremental patch from 6.0 -> 6.1

Version 6.1 requires a full upgrade - am I missing something here and are these going to become more regular.

It's hard enough as it is performing a full upgrade from version 5 to 6, you can't expect us to do this with every new release every few months :/

in v6.1 they provided many changes in admin and client area like the new order forms and health check etc, big changes i can say and maybe so many files been changed including Six template.

v6.1.1 is available too and incremental patch provided ;)
