[confirmed] pending orders shows all orders

As stated, when clicking to Pending Orders, it shows all orders. I reported this bug 2 years ago, since version 5.2.4, but it seems that never fixed, or keeps coming back. It happens to me in version 6.0.1.

Yes, they confirmed in version 5.2.4 with sidebar.tpl file. And didn't bother to fix it.

I've been using WHMCS for about 7 years. I've never had that happen, and use that link everyday. Maybe the issue is coming from a custom module, hook, or template?

Actually, it's confirmed by John at ticket NNR-947021 and the issue #CORE-8834 is opened few days ago.

Thanks for pointing to the ticket and the case. It explains what the difficulty was reproducing this issue, it only effects a specific link (on the sidebar not menu) in a specific theme. When you report bugs here, please make sure to include as much detail as possible. For example here is the reproduction steps the tech provided:

 

The "Pending Order" link on the v4 template admin sidebar is invalid. It displays all orders rather than just pending ones.

Reproduction Steps:

1. Login to WHMCS Admin Area,

2. Switch to v4 template

3. Navigate to Orders > List All Orders

4. Click "Pending Orders" quick link in the sidebar

5. Assert all orders are displayed rather than just pending ones.

 

I am happy to report a pull request has been made to get this fixed and I expect it will make WHMCS 6.0.2. When it is released, you will see your case in the changelog.
