Single email account for all support departments

Ok.....I want all support tickets going to the same email.  However, why should I have multiple emails I have to sign into when I could just categorize the departments in the same email?

 

For example:

I have a department set up for technical support, but it has to go to a different email, why?  At this rate I have to create 10 email accounts.
