How to partially pay invoice via credit card?

Is there a way to make a partial payment via credit card for an invoice?

 

There is no problem posting partial payments when the customer pays via check because I can enter the amount paid but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this when they pay with credit card.

 

Is there a way to say how much it should charge if you manually click "Attempt Capture" on the invoice page?

Hi,

When you click Attempt Capture, WHMCS will always charge the full balance of the invoice.

 

To make a partial payment you'd need to generate an Add Funds invoice for the desired amount, then use that credit to make a partial payment against the original invoice.
