licencing add-on question

I own 5.3.7 version of WHMCS and i DO NOT wish to waste money on update.

 

If i buy licencing add-on. Will it work with 5.3.7 ?

I know some people still running V3 and V4 and they say me "No, I don't want to update because everytime I update WHMCS it overwrites my template, language files, additionaldomainfields, invoicepdf". It doesn't matter how many times you try to explain them that it's not true and that they're risking a lot. I don't get how they can still have customers.

It should work, I think but can't be 100% sure.

 

Though WHMCS 5.3.9 contains quite a lot of security fixes so you might want to consider upgrading to 5.3.10 to be safe from those vulnerabilities. Why put your business at risk

Yes it will work, once purchased just activate it under Setup > Addon Modules.

 

However as others have advised, we would not recommend running v5.3.7 in a production environment if you're concerned for your security and that of your clients.
