yggdrasil
I also have the issues. The domains expires, the customers renews the domain and the status is not changed after renewal. It stays as expired for ever, and it does not update the status on domain syncs. I then get a support ticket about a customer claiming he cannot use his domain because its expired even when its not and I have to manually change the status. Not only the status does not change, but the expiration date does not change either. This only happens when a customer renews a domain when it was already in expired status.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 25, 2014 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 25, 2014 Hi, I've split this into a new topic as it wasn't related to the OP. When the client pays for the domain renewal, and the renewal command is successfully processed by your domain registrar, the status should automatically change from Expired to Active. The domain sync script has nothing to do with that. What entries do you see under Utilities > Logs > Activity Log at the time of domain renewal please?
