tkalfaoglu
I created an invoice for a web design for a hosting that I have. However, the customer keeps stalling payment, and I'd like 1) WHMCS to add late fees, 2) WHMCS to suspend the hosting for that site. Is there any way of achieving this? Many thanks, -turgut
Alex - Arvixe
Is the invoice associated with the package itself or did you manually create the invoice, separate from the hosting package? Late Fees: 1. Go to Setup -> Automation Settings: 2. Find 'Add Late Fee Days' and set the number of days to add a late fee 3. Go to Setup -> General Settings -> Invoices 4. Select 'Late Fee Type' and also 'Late Fee Amount' & 'Late Fee Minimum'. Suspend hosting for that site (Will work if the invoice is associated with a product and has the proper module set like cPanel) 1. Go to Setup -> Automation Settings 2. Tick 'Enable Suspension' and set the number of days in 'Suspend Days' 3. I recommend also enabling 'Enable Unsuspension' to unsuspend once a payment has been made. Bare in mind late fees can work 2 ways, it can make them pay on time to prevent additional fees but also, it can cause them to leave and find a new hosting provider. I strongly recommend informing them of the new late fee addition as I am pretty sure they won't like it if it gets added to an invoice by surprise.
tkalfaoglu
Thank you very much for your reply.. The invoice I created was for web design, therefore it is not an automatically-created invoice, therefore I don't know how to relate it to their hosting service.. For normal hosting invoices, the automatic suspension and late fees work well.
WHMCS Product Manager WHMCS John Posted July 23, 2014 WHMCS Product Manager Share Posted July 23, 2014 Hi, There is not an option to tie a manually created invoice to a service. So regrettably this would not be possible.
