eNom API - Error Registering .biz / .co domains - RRPText=Object does not exist

Hello all,

Just had a very weird error when registering a bunch of domains....all domains went through apart from any that had a TLD of .biz or .co

We use eNom at present. I was in WHMCS admin and added the domains in under a new order. Did a batch and then errored. Tried a few more times with the same result. All other TLDs registered fine.

The error in the debug is here:

--------------------------

;URL Interface

;Machine is SJL01WRESELL1

;Encoding Type is utf-8

RRPCode=545

RRPText=Object does not exist; SRS Major Code: 5220; SRS Minor Code: 52201; --NAMESERVER_NOT_FOUND; Nameserver for domain does not exist: NS1.NSNAMEREMOVED.CO.UK.

Command=PURCHASE

APIType=API

Language=eng

ErrCount=1

Err1=Validation error. Failed to create order.

ResponseCount=1

ResponseNumber1=309242

ResponseString1=Validation error; failed to add; order(s)

MinPeriod=1

MaxPeriod=5

Server=SJL01WRESELL1

Site=

IsLockable=True

IsRealTimeTLD=True

TimeDifference=+03.00

ExecTime=1.109

Done=true

RequestDateTime=6/15/2014 9:24:13 AM

--------------------------

I can confirm that the Nameserver very much exists! I even when into our eNom account and ran an NS update status check just to make sure and it came back just fine.

Anyone else seen this issue with the eNom API and WHMCS?

Cheers

  • WHMCS Support Manager

Hi,

The only thing I could thing that might cause this is if the eNom module is in test mode (Setup > Products/Services > Domain Registrars).

If it's definitely live then I recommend sending the API department and eNom support the action, request and response data from the WHMCS module log so they can investigate.

I'm getting a similar issue now. Tried to register .com domains: "Validation error. Failed to create order." keeps popping up. Also only with enom. Going to try it through their panel rather through WHMCS and see what happens.

Yip works fine when registering through their panel.
