ADz83
Is there a feature or addon so we can force clients to confirm email address prior to placing an order? I have a problem where some clients do not receive emails from us or they go to spam so it would be good to have a feature so that clients unspam us or use a different email prior to placing order because some clients do not receive product login details until they wait a while and then create support ticket, We then have to manually send email from a Gmail address to ask them to check spam folder etc.
CCSupport
I haven't seen a add on to achieve this, however I think it might be worth looking at this issue from a different angle. For instance, if it's happening a lot then the question should be asked why it is. We don't really have the issue of WHMCS emails going into spam so there must be a difference between either the email content or the outgoing email server. I would first start there in all honesty. However, instead of having an email confirmation add on, which would in reality give the perspective client another reason not to complete the transaction, it might be worth editing the product sign up page and adding some text explaining they should whitelist your outgoing email address.
jclarke
HostTheBest offers a module that does this: http://www.hostthebest.com/emailverification.php I would also recommend using a transactional email service such as mandril to help ensure emails are delivered properly.

Thanks, just what I was after
SeanP
I purchased the module from HostTheBest, but ended up writing my own. I didn't like the way it was designed. It ties the verification to an IP address. So, you have to register from the same PC or mobile device that you verified the email with. Also, it appeared you could verify an email address, then register with a different address. I may package the one I wrote, and release it.
