Backup for WHMCS to Provide Backup for your Clients

Recommended Posts

We have just launched a new module that will allow users to monetize a backup service through WHMCS and store the backup files off-site. The mod also has the most extensive scheduling options available that no other mod provides.

Please keep in mind, we have plans to continue adding additional features. We want to know what you think and what would be useful to you! Email us at ideas@whmcsbackup.com.

Automate Backups of Client Websites / Data

Through your WHMCS environment, automatically have your client's data backed up on whatever schedule they choose. Once you've set it up, just let it do it's thing. The data will be automatically backed up and transferred to whatever storage option you have setup. Currently we only have a couple options, but are working to integrate natively with cloud systems.

Customizable Scheduling Like None Other

Are you hosting any websites that have regularly changing data, such as an online store or news website? For these websites, a daily backup is simply not acceptable. With this addon you can set different schedules for databases verses files. For example, you can have the website files backed up once a day and the associated database backed up once an hour. - No one else offers this feature!

Database Frequency Options: Every 30 minutes, hour, 2 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, two days, and week.

File Frequency Options: Every 24 hours, two days, and week.

Backup To The Cloud -- Or Really Anywhere

Storing backup files on the same server your client's websites are running on is NOT a good solution. You need both the piece of mind that you have redundancy and a solution to keep storage costs low. Currently we offer FTP and FTP-to-Box.com (offers unlimited storage for right around $125/month) as the storage options, but the next priority for us is to integrate other options natively. - More will be coming very soon!

Manually Select Files to Backup

Don't just backup an entire hosting account! With this addon, you (or your customer) can set the folders that they want backed up. For example, if you want only /public_html/images/ backed up, you can do that. This will help you minimize the space needed for storing backups.

Database Backup -- Foreign Keys & Table Relations Preserved

Many backup services available use commands to backup the databases that can remove or break foreign keys as well as table relationships. We utilize a method to run these backups that preserves all of that data, making the restoration of these databases that much easier.

Make Money on Backup Services

This addon allows you to setup a product that's available to your customers, allowing you to charge for it. Set your own prices based on the frequency of both file backup frequency and database backup frequency. Backup services will be automated based on payment status just as other WHMCS products and services are.

Support, Updates, and New Features

Every purchase includes unlimited support via email for 1 year. If you have an issue, you can email us and talk to one of our team members, all based in Denver, Colorado, USA. You will also have full access to all updates that are released and any new features that are released, as long as you have an active subscription.

We have more features coming soon!

You can take a look on our Features Coming Soon page.

Hello,

Is this a addon module for WHMCS or what? And is the cost a one-time purchase or something else?

Thanks,

Robert

Looks to be a module for WHMCS yes. Looking at the website it is a recurring fee though it is quite confusing:

The homepage promotes a promotion from $89.95 to $49.95 with 1 year support/updates as part of an early bird offering but the order form is stating $49.95 for 6 months and $89.95 for 1 year?

looking at their forum profile, looks as though they haven't visited since 2014, their latest Facebook was 2014 also... and their website is showing multiple errors.

if they're not replying to emails, then you should probably consider looking for alternatives.
