lance
you may need to contact enom and have them whitelist your servers IP address?

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 23, 2015 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 23, 2015 Hi, Please ensure you have also whitelisted your server's main shared IP for access to eNom's API. This is typically the IP used to make outgoing cURL calls.
rdavis
Hello, We are also having the API error of [user not permitted from this IP address - 4] and we have specifically contacted Enom to insure both of our IP's have been white listed for use in there system. So what is the Enom addon module calling as a URL to place the order... according to Enom it should be "http://reseller.enom.com] and not [http://enom.com]. We don't have access to that URL, all we have access to is the WHMCS's [system Module Debug Log]. Please advise as we are waiting on a Domain Name purchase for a client today! Regards.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 2, 2015 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 2, 2015 Hi, I can confirm that the eNom module makes a cURL connection to http://reseller.enom.com. Please ensure your server IP from which external cURL calls are made is whitelisted with eNom for API access. This is typically the same as the "Valid IP" shown on your WHMCS licence details page in our members area: http://www.whmcs.com/members
davet
Been having this same issue. I am 100% positive the main IP of the server and the static IP of interactiveonline.com is whitelisted within the enom API... and I am using the correct password. I don't have any problems with WHMCS registering or renewing domain registrations. I only have a problem with the Enom NewTLD module being able to login to enom. Any further suggestion on how to get this working?
