KissNode
http://billing.revoltservers.com/adminaccess/ is giving me a license error, but not http://www.revoltservers.com/billing/adminaccess/login.php . /http://puu.sh/6Kr6i.png is showing that WHMCS is not picking up the billing sub domain. Please help, thanks!
Damo
billing.revoltservers.com isn't not listed as valid. Only revoltservers.com and .www.revoltservers.com. There is no wildcard license for subdomains.
KissNode
What? So it's impossible to have billing work on a sub domain as well? That's really disappointing. This must not be the case, I see a site that has WHMCS on a sub domain. http://my.fragready.com
TekStorm Inc - James
Use one or the other, not both... sub.domain.net != domain.net/sub anymore than domain.net == someotherdomain.com Whichever you decide to make use of, simply redirect the other to it. KissNode
How do I use one and not the other? On Filezilla, billing.revoltservers.com is public_html/billing
TekStorm Inc - James
How do I use one and not the other? On Filezilla, billing.revoltservers.com is public_html/billing If you want to use billing.revoltservers.com, you can make a rewrite rule to redirect revoltservers.com/billing to billing.revoltservers.com.
KissNode
I understand this.. but billing.revoltservers.com/adminaccess says license error still. So I can only use admin from the real directory, but clients can use billing.revoltservers ? Right?
Damo
Why don't you just get the license re-issued and installed it on billing.revoltservers.com? And tell your clients to use that address or setup a redirect from resvoltservers.com/billing to billing.revoltservers.com
pRieStaKos
I added a subdomain whmcs.domain.com/ with dir domain.com/whmcs and installed it. If WHMCS is not automatically issue the license, open a ticket with your subdomains and IP and staff will fix it for u. It should work automatically btw...

So I can only use admin from the real directory, but clients can use billing.revoltservers ? Right? Reissue your license from within the WHMCS client area. Once you've done that, you can navigate to your admin area at the desired URI (i.e. billing.revoltservers.com/admin). If your license in the WHMCS client area still shows as being Reissued, navigate to Help >> Check for Updates within your WHMCS admn area and it will be updated.
