you would have to manually add this to a future invoice as the idea of the late fee is that when a client is late paying an invoice the fee is added to the late invoice at a set time after the due date

This is a problem, in our country we can't change invoices, if we have late fees they are billed on the next invoice. It would be nice the option to bill the late fees on next with the detail like

 

"Late fees for invoice #xxxx..... $xx"
