markb1439
Hi, We offer cPanel hosting. Instead of suspending people when they go over their plan limits (bandwidth and storage), we want them to be able to go over...and then have them pay overage charges. However, we have a couple of questions about the best way to implement this. One issue is that cPanel would normally suspend accounts that go over. This feature can be turned off, but it also turns off overage notifications. So I guess we have no choice here, we need to turn this feature off in cPanel...unfortunately, some of our clients may be surprised when they have overages with no warning. The other issue is how to handle the payment of the overage charges. I understand that WHMCS will invoice those charges at the end of the month, and that service can be suspended if the overages aren't paid. However, we want to allow people a reasonable amount of time to pay these. So my questions are: Is there any way that WHMCS can send out overage notifications since cPanel won't do it (if auto-suspension is turned off for overages)? How can we give people a reasonable grace period to pay for overages? Any advice will be appreciated! Thanks, Mark
