WIS hosting
Hi, I upgraded to version 5.2.3 and after the upgrade the upcoming domain renewal is changed completely. I first have used the new emailtemplate that WHMCS uses default, but this only sents out emails to domains which expire in 9 days. It doesnt mention the other domains that expire in 15 or 25 days. I think it should as the template mentions "foreach" After that I have used my old emailtemplate which was working before with no problems. Also this one doesnt work after the upgrade to 5.2.3. It only sends out emails to domains which expire within 9 days... the others are not notified. I have already opened a ticket in the whmcs site, but there is no response to my ticket... Are there more with the same problem? And what kind of email template do you use for sending the upcoming domain renewal mail? thanks
WIS hosting
Maybe to clearify it more: It doesnt seem to be the template. The template is just text. But th upcoming domain renewal message is only sent to clients who have a domain that is due in 9 days. The clients with a domain that is due on 15 and 25 days dont receive a message. I have however set this correct in the automation settings. Whmcs still didnt respond to my ticket. Can somebody help me here? Thanks

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 23, 2014 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 23, 2014 Hi, This might be related to a known bug in previous versions of WHMCS, but fixed in v5.3.9: Case #4578 - Reset domain reminder field after due date change or renewal Once the renewal is processed, the reminders will be sent next year. Or you can run this query on the WHMCS database so that any remaining reminders this year can be sent: UPDATE tbldomains SET reminders = '' WHERE domain = 'xxxxxx.yyy'; Replace xxxxxx.yyy with the actual domain in question. As always, before making changes to the database, please backup first.
stormy
Hi John, I'm having this problem too. So - this has existed on every version before v.5.3.9? I have discovered a ton of domains that have received no reminders at all. How can I fix every broken domain, and get those notifications sent, even if the domains have expired? WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 9, 2015 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 9, 2015 Hi, I believe this may have been an issue between v5.1.3 and 5.3.9. However this only came to our attention in v5.3.8 and was subsequently fixed in the very next release.
