zelatech
i think he should face the same as others that did this in the early stages and have his WHMCS licence revoked. I hope the same really, as ckh said, there are quite too many coincidences to be an error.
easyhosting
he has the same lame statement on his own site, but strange, using details from a LEAKED (stolen) WHMCS database to sell a mod that "gives administrators the ability to encrypt and store sensitive information within their existing WHMCS installation." I think whatever he says on any forum about this will be pointless as who would now want to purchase a mod that holds sensitive data from a company that used stolen details from a DB that had sensitive data on to try and sell the mod.
rdavis
We would say everyone connected to WHMCS got that spam! We did! P.S. and they will not reply to our questions about spam, so we reported them as a spammer!

easyhosting
I think he stopped when he realised his campaign failed bigtime with all the negative posts on several forums and i dare say several spam reports to his host
panacheweb
I am not amused by these tactics.. I downloaded the files and database when it came out to verify the validity of it, and yes my info was in there clear as day.... after I saw that I went and deleted the data and scrubbed it from my HD. Spamming is a criminal offense in many countries and in the USA for certain. Let alone using a stolen database to do it just makes me even more pissed off.. This makes this person just as bad as those that "hacked" whmcs in the first place. editing to add, I thought the use of whmcs in any form that is not authorized violates any copyright/trademark of whmcs. so by using whmcs in the domain name violates whmcs's rights and they should technically be able to cease the name.
