snake
When user tries to save/update contact details, they get the following error. registered_for:Not Specified:Required value not specified There is no field called "registered for" and all the displayed fields are filled in. Also the bulk management options do not work, clicking any of the buttons does nothing at all.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 14, 2012 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 14, 2012 Hi, Which domain registrar are you using? Do you see any missing values hen you enable the module debug log? http://docs.whmcs.com/Troubleshooting_Module_Problems
snake
we use ENOM. I checked the debug log and "registered_for" is indeed being sent with no value.
snake
OK I found the cause for that one, the "Registrant Name" must be filled in and it must also EXACTLY match the current WHOIS or it will fail with a different error as your not allowed to change this info. It seems some better error handling is required as WHMCS really doesn't tell you anything remotely useful when things fail, it just seems to show you the error from the ENOM API. So with this info I managed to get the "registrant to update", but the ADMIN and TECH contacts will not update. If I change to "Use Existing Contact" and click save, or if I choose "Use Following Details" and fill in the form, nothing gets changed, the details do not get updated, and the page reloads with the old details still intact. This seems to be a bug ?
