manually generating invoices from products

Recommended Posts

Currently our WHMCS is screwed and is not generating invoices properly, been waiting weeks and weeks for WHMCS support to look at this.

So we are having to generate invoices manually. So on the summary page I choose all products and click generate invoice.

But it does not update the "next due date" on the products, is it supposed to ? or is this something else I have to do manually

Normally when the cron job runs it creates invoices and all the products next due dates are updated. This is the normal behaviour and I have observed checked it on invoices that generate correctly. Run cron job, check products, next due date has changed to the next month.

So surely the same must be true for manually generated invoices too?

Our big issue is When the cron job runs it is not generating invoices correctly lately.

Sometimes it generates a blank invoice, and only the FIRST products next due date is updated.

Sometimes it generates a blank invoice, and NONE of the products next due date is updated.

Sometimes it generates a an invoice, with some products on it, but some missing, or addons missing, the missing ones do not get their due date updated.

The result of this is that the customer is not invoiced correctly and the products whose "next due dates" are not changed, which means the dates stay in the past and the customer is never charged again.
