Sniickerz
Hi, I ran a test for my WHMCS to when I pay for the item, it will automatically set up the service. However it didn't. I have all the information correctly done in my products & service servers. I have the module pricing set to automatically setup after payment, yet it doesn't work. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
Sniickerz
The thing is, i'll receive the payment, however it doesn't set the services up, nor does it show that the user paid, when clearly they did.

nutsandbolts
Does the order show up as pending? Do you get a confirmation email?
Sniickerz
Does the order show up as pending? Do you get a confirmation email? it shows up as pending(on both the client & admin area).. But I made it to where it should auto setup upon first payment. It'll show as pending, I'll then pay for it via my other paypal email, and it'll send the money to me on my main paypal account, but it still shows the status of the order as "unpaid".. Would you guys happen to know why?
nutsandbolts
Hmm... I'm not sure. I approve mine manually for added security, so they always show up as pending until I approve them. You might get faster/more reliable answers by submitting a support ticket. I had to do that awhile back - domain transfers wouldn't go through and it turned out it was an issue in the SQL database. Support fixed it for me very quickly.
disgruntled
if its still showing as unpaid then your IPN setup at paypal isnt pointing to the correct location in your whmcs installation, Check out the whmcs documentation to make sure you have this correct. If all is correct on your website end and paypal is pointing to the right location check to see if you are actually active to receive the IPN from paypal. maybe you didnt configure something right.

I'll do just that if all other options are tried, and unsuccessful. if its still showing as unpaid then your IPN setup at paypal isnt pointing to the correct location in your whmcs installation, Check out the whmcs documentation to make sure you have this correct. I had my IPN setup, could it possibly be because my directory "folder" is under password protection? and would it matter if it was "http" or "https" as long as it's pointing to my /whmcs folder? Also, does it have to be /whmcs or /whmcs/modules/gateways/callback/paypal.php ? Edited October 21, 2012 by Sniickerz
easyhosting
Also, does it have to be /whmcs or /whmcs/modules/gateways/callback/paypal.php ? in 5.1.2 if you look under the Paypal payment gateway next to where it says save changes it will have this (You must enable IPN inside your PayPal account and set the URL to http://domain/whmcs) where it will give you the URL to place in your paypal IPN setup

But it doesn't work. May have to contact support.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 24, 2012 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 24, 2012 Hi, Please navigate to Billing > Gateway Log. Do you see any record of the payments? If there are no entries please double-check the IPN settings in your account are configured per our documentation @ http://docs.whmcs.com/PayPal If that's configured correctly already, in your PayPal account navigate to History > IPN History and click the Message ID link corresponding to a transaction not recorded in WHMCS. The Message ID page should provide some clue as to why it's not working. If you've password protected the /modules/gateways/callback/paypal.php file so PayPal can't access it, that would be a problem.
