snake
several weeks ago we "luckily" noticed some issues where items had simply been missed off of customer invoices and their next due date not updated, thus those items would never be invoiced for ever again either. In one case it was an addon, in another case it was individual products. In addition customers are randomly receiving BLANK invoices for 0.00 with nothing on them. I have checked the KB and found mention of the cron job being run twice as a possible cause for the blank invoices, but this is not the case. I have checked the activity logs and it does not show the cron job is being run more than once. Just to be sure I moved the scheduled task to a different server as well. I opened a ticket with WHMCS, but so far 2 weeks and no reply form them at all. Does anyone else have any idea what might cause this, obviously this is a very serious issue and we cannot rely on a billing system that just randomly stops invoicing customers for products, so we dare not move any more customers into WHMCS until this is resolved.
snake
anyone got any ideas? 18 days and still no reply from WHMCS support either, they are completely refusing to respond.
othellotech
Invoices wont regenerate if you *delete* the invoice without first deleting the invoice items and change eth date back one day, then forward a day. So if you're getting issues with missing items on invoices are you sure no-one is deleting things ?
snake
no-one has deleted anything or made any changes to the invoices at all. The invoice is there generated on the normal date, but with items missing from it. Obviously if we did not notice this then the customer would simply never be charged again for those missing items. Luckily we have only moved a few of our customers into WHMCS so far, had we moved ALL our customers over, these problems would have slipped through without anyone noticing and no doubt in larger quantities.
easyhosting
I have checked the KB and found mention of the cron job being run twice as a possible cause for the blank invoices, this can happen if you moved your WHMCS installation and not complately removed the older installation.
snake
if you read the rest of the sentence it says... but this is not the case. I have checked the activity logs and it does not show the cron job is being run more than once
