Its in regards to the new eway token gateway, see: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?50282-v5-1-Token-support-for-eWay-%28Australia%29&highlight=eway+token

It simply doesnt work - Errors in the logs -

example:

Invoice ID => 14

User ID => 9

Amount => 239.40

UserID => 9

0 => <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"><soap:Body><soap:Fault><faultcode>soap:Client</faultcode><faultstring>The element 'CreditCard' in namespace 'https://www.eway.com.au/gateway/managedpayment' has invalid child element 'CCExpiryMonth' in namespace 'https://www.eway.com.au/gateway/managedpayment'. List of possible elements expected: 'CustomerRef' in namespace 'https://www.eway.com.au/gateway/managedpayment'.</faultstring><detail /></soap:Fault></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>

and

Invoice ID => 14

User ID => 9

Amount => 239.40

No Remote Customer ID Found

I have given WHMCS these log entries (on the 31st) - I have had eway confirm the details I entered into the gateway config were correct - It simply doesnt work. As its a new gateway module, I dont know anyone else who has it working, infact I know of at least one other person who also has issues.

The error above is saying that the expiry month is incorrect

That looks like the log from gateway log... can you go to utilities->logs->module log and enable logging then report back the error from there after trying the transaction again. (make sure to star out the user/pass fields before posting it here)

This should tell you exactly what was sent to the gateway.

The module log is empty - completly empty. (its been active the whole time)

P.S the error doesnt seem to indicate an invalid month to me, it indicates that the field name is wrong.

Note: eway are not recording ANY attempts at processing a transaction at their end - there are no failure notices in their logs.

I know that the docs say

Check and ensure that "Disable Credit Card Storage" is not enabled in Setup > General Settings > Security - when using a token module it is not needed
but the token gateway is not supposed to store CC details locally... it that not the point of it or do I have the wrong end of the stick!

Sorry for any delays getting back to you on your ticket. We don't respond any quicker to users who post on the forums as otherwise everyone would start doing it, but rest assured we'll get to your ticket shortly.

@sparky: In the case of token modules, ticking that option to not store cards in the database means that even the token isn't stored. I guess you could call it a switch to toggle automated recurring billing on/off.

Hi Matt

eway have diagnosed the issue - I have documented it in my ticket - Please see #678177 - So far, its been 10 days since anyone has replied to the ticket from WHMCS.

We cant fix the issue due to the module being encoded - Only WHMCS can fix it.
