rodeoXtreme
I have a support ticket generated but it has been sometime since a response, so I would like to know if someone else had the issue and resolved it. The Problem: We use the comparison cart. When you attempt to order a hosting product that requires a domain; if you select "Transfer" or "Update nameservers..." we get an error: "The domain you entered is not valid. Enter only the part after the www. and include the TLD" The reply from Support was that it is probably a JS issue relating to customized templates. So I switched to the "Default" Template and Comparison Cart and we are still getting the same error. The obvious problem is definitely related to the default template and comparison cart or at least the comparison cart itself. Has anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix to the solution. Changing to another cart is not an issue but we have about 10 man-hours updating all of the products to work with the comparison tables. Cheers!
cenourinha
Hi there, I'm able to reproduce this error. We need this fixed as soon as possible. It seems the Javascript isn't updating the fields for that selection.

rodeoXtreme
I updated our ticket yesterday with what we discovered and have not yet heard anything from support. The last response that I had was directly from Matt about a week ago to check custom java script conflicts but nothing from Support since. Hopefully soon as we have had to change to a different order form until then and have built all of our products around the comparison template.

sleepigrl
Is this patch available somewhere publicly? I am paying for WHMCS through my web host and do not have access to the client area.
xxbonoxx
How can I get a patch for this problem...I am having the same issue...
eCottage
I have a similar problem with the comparison order form in handling domain transfers and subdomains, in that the extension defaults to those that I am selling basically. Whereas the domain extension (such as .com) should be blank to enter the TLD extension for transfers and filled with .myhost.com or similiar for subdomains. I hate not being able to use the comparison order form or give up accepting transfers or offering free subdomains to my clients.
JFOC
they will not fix this, until next release
artizhay
But someone said they've received a patch. Where can we get this patch? Also, the form does work if you order directly from the homepage, rather than going straight to the hosting list, but it's still pretty important that it work on the hosting page.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 11, 2012 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 11, 2012 Hi, Yes if you contact support we can absolutely provide a fix for 5.1.x. I think where JFOC is getting confused is that this issue will of course be fixed in the next release without the need to re-apply the fix.
