Hi,

slim open por 43 on firewall.

http://docs.whmcs.com/ResellerClub

Common Problems

Connection Problems

HTTP Error: Couldn't open socket connection to server: http://www.myorderbox.com/anacreon/servlet/APIv3

Domain Registration Error - Unable to connect to Registry

These errors occur when the ResellerClub server is unreachable. They may be experiencing problems or it could be a local firewall blocking the connection.

you dont need a whois to register any domains, you use a domain regsitrar for this, a whois only looks up the whois info related to a domain.

an alternative whois try http://whois.domaintools.com/

WHMCS uses whois.crsnic.net to define if the domain is available or not. With this issue, your clients will get an error message and all the .com and .net domains will show as unavailable.

FOr all those posting about specific resellers - This topic is NOT about that. Its about the whois server WHMCS uses to check if .com and .net domains are available. EVERYONE that uses WHMCS uses whois.crsnic.net when someone checks if .com or .net domain is available - and this is currently dead.
