Recurring Payments with 2Checkout, CDG?

JimW

Question

Will WHMCS do automatic recurring payments with 2Checkout? I don't want the customer to have to pay manually every month.

Same question with Quantum Gateway (CDG)?

I don't want to store CC info.

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No clue about CDG

2CO will but you need WHMCS 5+ I think, unless its safe to pull the 5x module down to another installation. The 2CO people if you call them are very familiar with WHMCS and will pretty much set everything up for you, double check it, and run test transac. (just a bummer about the higher fee schedule =\ )

Let me clarify.. you need the newer 2CO module for subscribed payments feature.

Thanks for the info,

Got v5 so I'll give it a try. Can't believe how ugly the 2checkout checkout is... wow. I hate for my customers to even see that mess. Makes my company look cheesy. And 5.5%...

Might have to look into authorize.net CIM.

CDG/Quantum Gateway works very well with recurring. Pretty much flawless in our experience.

2CO is something we use, but discourage (by pushing the other gateways), since the fees are high and until recently didn't handle recurring. I haven't had a new signup use it in some time, so I don't know how well it (automated recurring) works.

With Quantum storing the CC info, does the customer have to leave your site to pay? If so any templates/header footer?

Thanks

Same boat, mind if I ask what you name 2co on your order area? We try to make it the last resort too. I dont have it named like "Credit Card" because frankly that makes everyone use it. We dont use any 2co branding either and stuff it away labeled something like "Other Credit Cards"

They leave:

http://docs.whmcs.com/Quantum_Vault

http://docs.whmcs.com/Quantum_Gateway

You can set a look over at their site. Once they've entered their card, from there on it opens an iframe to update info, meaning the only time they see that remote site is on signup.

To comply with 2CO's terms, you have to display a tag line on the checkout page(s) so there's no fully hiding it. We call it 2CO.

The 2checkout recurring payments works well in most cases but I have run into problems where for some people it doesn't charge their account on the expected day.

However, 2checkout as a company I've found to be very good indeed. Tied with PayPal as they have higher fees but better support.

we had many issues with Paypal such as subscriptions being cancelled all the time which was annoying my clients and me. all paypal support could say (thats once they found where they left the computer so they could reply to support requests) was that the cancellations come from my account even though their logs showed that when these were cancelled that no one was logged into my account, which they could not offer any explanation.

I setup a 2co account and yes their fees are higher, but they answer support requests and sort issues out.
