Hi WHMCS developers:

Thanks for a great release in WHMCS5.0.3.

I had a couple of things to say that come from my being a totally blind administrator, and would like to get feedback from staff members if it is possible to get Matt or someone else to say something.

I even sent this feedback to you folks in a support ticket, but figured I'd put it here, too.

First:

Thanksf or adding the checkbox to the PayPal module under payment gateways the module that just says "PayPal" that will match addresses against PayPal entered ones.

That helps a lot!

I want to see that feature stay in WHMCS, please.

Secondly, Please do continue to provide a way as you do right now int he admin area, for admins to go back to the origenal primary template that you folks developed.

The blend template is not accessible (or at least not too accessible) for screenrreader-keyboad navigating only users.

The origenal template is a bit easier for screen-reader navigating admins.

For example, with that template selected I can:

bring up a list of links using my screen rreader, press m to navigate to the "My Account" linik, enter on that, then after bringing up the list of links in my screen reader, a "G" will land me on general settings, an L, will move to Localization, and so on throughout the entire admin system.

Third:

Thanks for clearly labeling form feeleds with meaningful names/buttons, etc.

Fourth:

Thanks for using header markup.

Headers are useful if you didn't already know for screen reader users, because most screen reader programs, such as Voiceover on the Mac/IPhone platforms, JAWS for Windows from http://www.FreedomScientific.com, Window-Eyes from http://www.GwMicro.com, and other screenreaders all support header navigation if it is available.

WHMCS provides, this, so I hope you will keep that going forward with releases.

Can developers comment on this thread as to if the checkbox to check against PayPal addresses in the PayPal module will stay for sure throughout the future of WHMCS development?

I would like to get a yes or no on this from Matt, or a upper lead developer if it is possible to do so.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback, to address your points:

1. You can switch back to the older admin area templates under Setup > Administrators > Edit, there's V4 and Original.

2. Are you referring to the new "Require Shipping Address" option in version 5? If so I'm not aware of any plans to remove that.
