Nathanael
Since the 5.01 beta im not getting an email warning me that a new ticket was created or answered. All emails work(backup, order, etc) but not that one and i have "check Tick this box to receive email notifications when new tickets are opened or responded" to in the admins area. Anyone with same problem?

cpoalmighty
I was in the same boat but then we went back to Cpanel and deleted all of the forwarded emails and set them back up again and now they all work. Hope this helps
zelatech
what you mean with deleted all the forwarded emails?
cpoalmighty
Sorry for the lack of explanation The problem I was having was that of my tickets were not being created in WHMCS but I could see that the message was sent to the respective email address so what I did was I logged into cpanel, clicked on forwarders, and deleted the forwarded emails which were supposed to be piped to WHMCS. Then we added them back again. After reading your post I should have asked before I posted if your emails were reaching WHMCS or only to your designated email address for that department. If it was getting to WHMCS and logged by WHMCS then we would obviously have had different issues.

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted November 28, 2011 WHMCS CEO Share Posted November 28, 2011 This one proved a little tricky to track down but having looked at 2 of the users installs from this thread who opened tickets for similarities and run some tests, I think we've found it now. Check patch #8 @ http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?p=206200#post206200 for the update to this one. Matt

websavers
Yep, I noticed the same thing on all replies that are admin notifications. The merge variable {$ticket_message} doesn't appear to be getting its \n -> <br /> conversion. This is also reported here: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?p=206737
