WHMCS Product Manager WHMCS John Posted November 11, 2011 WHMCS Product Manager Share Posted November 11, 2011 When you add payment to an invoice or create a transaction simply specify the amount (ie. $50.00). The invoice reminders will then show the remaining balance.
WGS
Hi, For anyone still looking for a solution to this, partial payments can now be handled directly against the same WHMCS invoice using a Partial Payment WHMCS Module. You can accept multiple payments toward one invoice, and it works with all WHMCS payment gateway modules, including Stripe/PayPal/etc. More information: https://whmcsglobalservices.com/partial-payment-whmcs-module/
robinson12
This is still a useful billing scenario, especially for deposits or split payments. WHMCS can record a payment for a specific amount against an invoice and keep the remaining balance outstanding, which makes the workflow much cleaner than creating a separate invoice for every payment.
