2checkout not marking invoices as paid or registering payment

Hi there,

I have been experiencing a problem with 2checkout lately that has me confused.

The module used to work as it should before but then about 2 months ago I noticed it was not working. The only thing new I remember doing around that time was adding another director's info and adding them as the api in 2checkout. Then I included that info into whmcs along with my info which was always there. The reason for this was because I wanted to be able to refund a client straight from whmcs -just like with paypal- and not have to log into 2checkout website.

I guess my question would be if having my 2checkout information along with the other director's api information would cause any conflict within 2checkout to process an order? Also, I have the secret answer feature activated as well

Thank you for your time.

J

Thank you John for your prompt reply.

I do have the upgraded version for WHMCS and when I logged into 2checkout I noticed the global settings was not there. I could have sworn it was done before since I was able to see invoices being marked as paid before. Hmm. Also I did what you asked and await sometime this week when a client's invoice is due to see the outcome.

I hope it does not matter about http or https because our clients use https all the time.

Thank you again for your help. Much appreciated

I'd change it to https as this is what fixed our issue, though note that till the fraud check is complete the actual invoice will not resemble a paid status until everything from 2Checkouts is complete. This can take up to 24 hours so just take in to account.

Sure it can skip the fraud check, but I would not advise of that.

I'm having the same problem. From what I can see the settings in Payment Gateways and in 2CO Notifications is all set properly.

I have WHMCS 4.5.1 and prior to setting up the 2CO API for recurring billing invoices were set to Paid after a payment. Now the transaction seems to be recording but the status of the invoice remains as Unpaid.

In Billing >> Gateway Log, I see Notification Only for ORDER_CREATED and the follow by the FRAUD STATUS PASS entry.

Any other ideas that I can check for troubleshooting?

In my testing I found that when in Demo Mode, which is the only way I can test so I'm not sure if not in Demo Mode, after complete the payment in 2CO, I see the file 2checkout.php still being run instead of the tco.php which is clearly specified in the Notifications are of 2CO.

Is there a place where it will remember and continue to call 2checkout.php?

I forgot to post here to let you guys know that my problem was solved following the advice of John and Jetwash. I went into the global settings and made sure to include the url of my 2checkout module using the https://www.yourdomain.com/whmcs/modules/gateways/callback/tco.php . and hit apply. One thing I should mention is that there was a time that we got a large order and the invoice was not set to paid after 8 hours! I thought it was busted again but then I read the http://docs.whmcs.com/2CheckOut again and realized that I had a setting in place to wait for the fraud check to be passed BEFORE marking the invoice as paid. I would recommend every host to keep this in place just in case you have your hosting packages to setup immediately after payment is received. This helps a lot. Oh, and make sure to include in your automatic emails that the account will be setup after they have passed the fraud check by 2checkout.com so your clients do not get angry when it takes a bit longer.

Thank you guys for all your help.

I think you guys may need to either delete all instances of this module and reinstall it or you can ensure that all of your links are correct. I would also like to know if any of you updated WHMCS to an advanced stage? eg You had ver 2.xx and updated to v4.xxx. This may also be your problem since you would ideally have to update in particular increments to ensure everything works correctly or do a full install. Some incremental updates provided by WHMCS are particular to certain versions I think and as such may not be contained in another incremental update. (Let me explain this...lol)

March WHMCS releases an incremental update to address an issue with 2co module which means that files will only be provided to address that issue and nothing else.

July WHMCS releases another incremental update to address another issue being experienced by the same module (again only certain files will be attached to address that issue alone)

December WHMCS releases another increment

February WHMCS releases another increment which address an issue you are experiencing and you update with this increment but never once updated to the previous 3 increments. Some key files for the functionality of the 2co module would be missing. One of those might be the recurring payment section (this file might be old and may need to be updated with the latest release to ensure everything goes smoothly with your full 2co module)

That is why if you totally remove the 2co module and reinstall it with all updated files, you may not have that issue again :)

Hope this is not too confusing...lol (remember to post back here with your problems and solutions as well so the community can continue to be knowledgeable and well informed )
